Cattle Mutilations: Radiation Monitoring Program?

I once happened onto an unusual scene, a possible mysterious cattle mutilation up near Mount Shasta a few years ago. A few park rangers were sitting on lawn chairs, sort of guarding it. My friend and I asked if we could see it and they said sure and pointed over to where it was.  My friend told the rangers I thought it was aliens, but I offered another explanation: military with battery powered hand held laser scalpels. One of the forest service rangers said he too had heard of this possibility.

While I’ve heard that tissue samples are taken as part of a secret radiation monitoring program, I don’t understand why this would need to be happening. Covert little sticky air samplers could be created by the government, left in fields, and later retrieved much more cheaply and with a lot less destruction? Plus, there would be no need for organ analysis. The radiation testing explanation never really made sense to me.

The discovery of a mutilated steer near Sand Coulee in late August 1974 marked the first known incident of such nature. The incident gained significant attention and caused alarm among local ranchers and residents.

The mutilated carcass was found by a rancher, who immediately alerted authorities. Upon examination, it was discovered that the steer had been subjected to unusual and precise surgical wounds. Organs, such as the heart and reproductive organs, were carefully removed from the animal’s body, leaving no traces of blood or signs of struggle.

The incident puzzled investigators as there seemed to be no logical explanation for the unusual mutilations. The precision and expertise involved in the process suggested the involvement of skilled individuals rather than natural phenomena or animal predation.

News of the incident spread quickly, and similar reports started emerging from neighboring areas in the following months. The mysterious mutilations continued to baffle both law enforcement agencies and local communities, leading to widespread speculation and theories about the possible culprits behind these bizarre occurrences.

Investigations into the incidents were conducted, but no concrete evidence or conclusive explanations were ever found. The mutilations remained unsolved, leaving the affected communities in a state of fear and uncertainty.

There is no scientific evidence to suggest that cattle mutilations are caused by a secret radiation monitoring program.

Some conspiracy theories or anecdotal accounts might suggest that secret government programs or extraterrestrial beings are involved, but these claims lack substantiation and scientific support. The majority of veterinary professionals, law enforcement agencies, and scientific investigators attribute cattle mutilations to common factors such as scavenger activity, predation, natural decomposition, or occasionally human involvement.

It’s crucial to examine claims critically and rely on scientific evidence when evaluating such phenomena.
