Of all your possessions, if you could only take what you could fit in one car load, what should you prioritize? Assume you have no pets. I’m going to try this as a preparedness exercise over the next few months, pairing down everything I own (roughly 50 bankers boxes of stuff) to fit into one carload and for the rest I will either eat it, put it in storage, sell it, or give it away.

- Essentials: 3-5 versatile outfits suitable for work and casual outings.
- Seasonal Gear: A warm coat if moving to a colder climate or a swimsuit for warmer areas.

- Toiletries: Toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant.
- Medications: Any prescription medications, over-the-counter pain relievers, or allergy medications.
6. Valuables
- Jewelry: A wedding ring, family heirloom pieces, or any valuable items.
