In case you were looking for an Easter Bunny story, here is a little Rabbit and Raven story from the Navajo tradition:
There was once a clever rabbit who tricked a Raven into freeing him from a trap. The Raven was so impressed by the rabbit’s cunning that he asked to become friends and learn from him. The rabbit agreed and taught the Raven how to hunt and use his intelligence to outsmart his enemies.
One day, the Raven wanted to show off his newfound skills and asked the rabbit to accompany him on a hunting trip. The rabbit agreed but warned the Raven not to get too confident. However, the Raven ignored the warning and ended up being caught in a trap himself. The rabbit came to the rescue once again, but this time he was angry at the Raven’s overconfidence. He scolded the Raven and told him that intelligence and skill were not enough to survive in the world, humility and respect were also important qualities.
The Raven was humbled by the rabbit’s words and promised to always remember the lesson he learned. From that day on, the Raven and the rabbit became close friends and continued to learn from each other, but with a newfound respect for each other’s strengths and weaknesses.
