  1. Beta Carotene is poorly converted (1% if at all) to Retinol Vitamin A, the only active form of Vitamin A.
    Many Allergens (Plant Toxins) in Mix of Supplements.

It is Important to get tested for Allergens before adding Biologicals such as Pine Bark, Milk Thistle, Knot Weed, etc. Realistically, testing for Allergy is wise in knowing what Foods and Environmental Flora to avoid. FYI: It has been proven that Fish Oil extraction produces unavoidable Rancidity, and that the healthiest Sources of Omega-3 is Grass Fed Beef, Bison, Lamb, and fresh-caught Salmon (not Farmed), Roe, Shrimp, Crab, etc. Again, testing for Allergy is essential. Shellfish Allergy is Common. BTW: If one is allergic to Clover, Honey derived from Clover would be a potential Allergen. Also: Allergy to Bees (Bee Stings) makes Honey unacceptable as a Carb Source.
