If you do not believe that Bigfoot exists, for the best evidence and thousands of sightings, check out the Bigfoot Resarch Organization at ( http://bfro.net/ ). The web site has 100s of sightings you can read, to decide for yourself. After reading a few hundred, you may change your current view. It did mine. I also interviewed someone who dated a man who saw a Bigfoot near the California coast walk straight up a steep hill like it was nothing.
Here is an example of a sighting:
(Associated Press) Bigfoot sighted. Two days ago, on June 11, 2004.
“Marion Sheldon and Gus Jules were traveling out of town along the Alaska Highway on an all-terrain vehicle between 1 and 2 a.m. when they passed what resembled a person standing on the side of the highway.Thinking it was a person from their small community who might be in need of a ride, they turned around. As the two lifelong Teslin residents and members of the Teslin Tlingit Council approached to within 20 feet, they noticed the figure was covered in hair, but standing upright the entire time. Though natural light was dusky, Jules saw what he believed to be flesh tones hidden beneath the mat of hair, he told Bakica. … Jules is an experienced hunter. Jules described the figure as standing about 7 feet tall, but hunched over. They could see it was not a person. As the two parties went their separate ways, the dark-haired figure crossed the highway in two or three steps. Teslin is about 90 miles southeast of Whitehorse. It would not be the first suspected Yukon sighting of the folklore beast. In April 1991, three Pelly Crossing residents reported seeing a Sasquatch while driving between Pelly and Stewart Crossing. The creature fled back into the woods as the vehicle passed. The residents took a photo of what they claim were footprints measuring 15 inches long in the melting snow.” [15]
A claim regarding the discovery of Bigfoot skeletons by archaeologist Dr. Jan Margate has its roots in a sensational article published in the Weekly World News on August 10, 1993. According to the article, Dr. Margate found a burial mound in the Malheur National Forest, east of Seneca, Oregon, which purportedly contained the remains of hundreds of Bigfoots, described as gigantic creatures measuring between 8 and 9 feet tall. This discovery was said to have stunned scientists, suggesting that the area served as a sacred burial ground for these elusive beings[1].
However, there is no verifiable information regarding Dr. Jan Margate, as she does not appear in professional archaeological registries. The article’s author, Pete Kantner, is also difficult to trace, leading to suspicions that the story may have been fabricated by writer Chip Rowe. While there are indeed significant archaeological sites in the Malheur National Forest, including ancient Native American obsidian tool workshops, the existence of Bigfoot skeletons remains unsubstantiated[1].
Historically, reports of giant human skeletons in the United States have often been associated with hoaxes, misidentifications, and folklore. Many of these tales emerged from the discovery of large animal bones, which were mistakenly attributed to mythical giants. The fascination with giant skeletons has been fueled by a combination of sensational media coverage and public desire to believe in the extraordinary[2][6].
An open minded person should consider it possible that some real creatures exist alongside invented sensational stories and hoaxes.
“It’s a fact that for more than 400 years people have reported seeing large, hair-covered, man-like animals in the wilderness areas of North America. It is a fact that sightings of these animals continue today. Real or not, these reports are often made by people of unimpeachable character.
It is a fact that, for over seventy years, people have been finding, photographing, and casting sets of very large human-shaped tracks. Most are discovered by chance in remote areas. These tracks continue to be found to this day. It is a fact that the cultural histories of many Native American and First Nation peoples include stories and beliefs about non-human “peoples” of the wild. Many of these descriptions bear a striking resemblance to the hairy man-like creatures reported today. These are some of the facts. There is, however, much disagreement as to what these facts mean.” – BRFO
In the realm of cryptozoology, figures like Grover Krantz have contributed to the discourse around Bigfoot, advocating for the possibility of its existence based on anecdotal evidence and cultural lore. Krantz’s work, however, has been met with skepticism from the scientific community, which largely regards Bigfoot as a myth rather than a biological reality[3][5].
Reasons We Might Not Find Bigfoot Skeletons
The search for Bigfoot has intrigued many, but if such a creature exists, there are several credible reasons why we might not find its skeletons. Here some points to consider:
1. Low Population Density
If Bigfoot exists, it may have a very small population, making it more susceptible to extinction. A low population density would reduce the likelihood of finding remains. A solitary Bigfoot would struggle to reproduce and maintain a viable population. Without a sustainable population, the likelihood of finding remains diminishes.
2. Habitat Preferences
Bigfoot is often described as a forest-dwelling creature that prefers remote, dense areas. These habitats can obscure sightings and make it difficult for researchers to locate bones.
3. Rapid Decomposition
Large animals decompose quickly in the wild due to scavengers and environmental factors. This could result in remains being consumed or scattered before they can be discovered.
4. Natural Burial Practices
Similar to elephants, which scatter their bones, Bigfoot might also move away from the site of death, leading to the scattering of remains and making them difficult to find.
5. Limited Range
Large animals typically require extensive territories to find food. If Bigfoot roams in less accessible areas, it would be less likely to leave behind remains that humans could find.
6. Human Encroachment
As human populations expand, natural habitats are increasingly disturbed. This reduces the likelihood of large, elusive creatures remaining hidden, especially in areas with high human activity.
7. Long Lifespan
If Bigfoot has a long lifespan, it may die in remote areas where human access is limited. This increases the chances that its remains would decompose or be scavenged before being discovered. If Bigfoot has a long lifespan, it may possess biological adaptations similar to those found in other long-lived species, such as slower metabolic rates or efficient reproductive strategies. Such adaptations could allow it to thrive in challenging environments, contributing to its elusive nature. Additionally, a long lifespan could enable Bigfoot to accumulate knowledge of its habitat, enhancing its survival skills and ability to avoid human encounters over time.
9. Hoaxes
If all reported Bigfoot sightings were merely the result of human hoaxes, we would not expect to find any physical evidence, such as skeletons, of such a creature. However, the analysis of dermal ridges in alleged Bigfoot footprints, conducted by Jimmy Chilcutt, a forensic expert, suggests that the likelihood of these sightings being entirely fabricated over an extensive period and across diverse geographic regions is low. Chilcutt’s examination revealed that the dermal ridges in Bigfoot prints differ significantly from those of humans and known primates, indicating that these impressions were not made by conventional means. Specifically, he noted that the ridges in Bigfoot prints run vertically rather than horizontally, which is characteristic of human footprints, and that the prints themselves are much thicker, suggesting a heavier creature[4][9][12].
Chilcutt’s findings also included a notable case where two footprint casts, taken a decade apart and hundreds of miles apart, exhibited the same dermal ridge patterns. This consistency implies that the footprints could not have been created by a single hoaxer, but rather indicate the presence of a species that spans a significant area and time[9][10]. The complexity involved in creating such detailed and consistent dermal ridges would require a level of expertise and effort that seems implausible for a hoax, further supporting the notion that these sightings may be based on genuine encounters with an unidentified species[9][12].
8. Genetic Experiments
If Bigfoot were the result of a genetic experiment conducted by a government or human organization, and if every individual contained a tracking device, it would be unlikely for any Bigfoot skeletons to be discovered. However, this scenario does not align with historical accounts and cultural narratives surrounding Bigfoot. While selective breeding has been practiced throughout human history, the advanced technologies required for genetic manipulation and effective tracking of animals in dense, old-growth forests significantly diminish the plausibility of this explanation.
9. Misidentifications
If Bigfoot was only misidentified bears walking on their hind legs, we would not find bigfoot skeletons. With the number of sightings, including by credible people who are familiar with every kind of bear, this seems less likely than other options
10. Alien Probes
If Bigfoot sightings were actually encounters with synthetic organisms created by alien technology to monitor Earth, these beings could be advanced robots designed for near-immortality. Additionally, they might possess alien mechanisms that allow them to completely dissolve or disintegrate if they are deactivated or captured, ensuring that no evidence of their existence remains.
11. Super Suits
If Bigfoot sightings were the result of military exoskeleton super suits, we would not expect to find any Bigfoot skeletons. This theory fails to align with historical sightings and lacks compelling evidence or justification for the creation of super soldiers disguised as Bigfoot.
12. Matrix Glitches
If Bigfoot sightings were the result of glitches in a simulated reality, there would be no reason for these entities to die or leave behind skeletons. While there is currently no definitive evidence to confirm that we are living in a simulation, some calculations suggest that the odds of us not being in one could be as high as a billion to one. In other words, it seems increasingly improbable that we exist in a “base reality,” especially as our ability to create increasingly sophisticated simulations continues to advance, implying that such technology may have been developed by others before us.
These factors collectively contribute to the ongoing mystery surrounding Bigfoot and the challenges in finding any tangible evidence, including skeletons, even if such a creature were to exist.
In summary, while the tale of Bigfoot skeletons captivates the imagination, no credible evidence has been accepted by the scientific community to support their existence. It’s important to consider that entire extinct species of hominids have been inferred from just a single tooth or a few bones that do not align with known human species. This highlights the potential for significant discoveries, but so far, the evidence for Bigfoot remains elusive.
