In a shocking turn of events, thieves in Germany have stolen a staggering 5.5 tonnes of Nutella, the beloved chocolate-hazelnut spread. The heist took place in the central German town of Bad Hersfeld, where the culprits made off with the jars from a parked trailer. The stolen Nutella, manufactured by Italian company Ferrero, is estimated to be worth around ÂŁ13,600. Police are currently investigating the incident, and it’s not the first time thieves have targeted the location, as they had previously stolen a load of energy drinks from the same spot.
